Turbo Tachometer

I have read in a mag lately about a guage that measures turbo shaft rpm's. Can't seem to locate that article again. Has anyone viewed that ad or know who makes one?

the new diesels with the VGT turbos have TSS (Turbo Speed Sensor) regular turbos dont have this

This was an add on guage. The turbo housing had to be modified for its use.

Garrett makes that. Goes up to 180k or 220k rpm, can't remember which. I think it would be a neat gauge to have, but for most of us, not woth the $450 or whatever it is.
