Turbo Suggestions

Hey every one

I'm a newbie to DTR and could use some advice on a good turbo setup. As you can see in my signature my truck is still mostly stock. I've owned it for about 4 and a half years now and have been really pleased with it. I have wanted to start bombing it for a long time now, but have held back because I still have the stock clutch and no gauges yet. Also I have 4.10 gears so it pulls my loads pretty well.

However next month I am swapping out to 3.54 gears for fuel milage, and installing a new clutch soon because mine is getting worn, then installing some gauges so I can see what's going on.

My question is this. I plan to put in a #10 fuel plate and a 3000gsk to help with the pulling power loss of the gears, and just for more fun I live at 6000ft elevation so air is rather thin up here. I am looking for a turbo upgrade that will spool up as fast of preferably faster than stock and move enough air to keep egt's in check with the #10 plate. Some day I might put a little bigger injector in also, but that will be a long time off, so not a major concern just something to think about.

Thanks for your help
Josh

Thanks for the suggestions, that is one of the ones I was thinking about. but I didn't know if I would wind up with a bunch of turbo lag. Can anyone elaborate on the performace caracteristics of the HTB2, or any other turbo's they think will work good for me

thanks...josh

High Tech Turbo gets my vote! HTB2 62/14.

I have the big dog, Sled Puller 66/14, its not TOO bad for a big single!
