hey i have a 02 5.9 and turbo is going..just wondering if a turbo from a 2003 common rail 5.9 would bolt up to my 02

 

Is it making noise? How do you know it is going!

 

because i have excessive play in the shaft and its starting to hit the housing so its only a matter of time before it completely grenades, and im wondering if the 03 turbo will bolt up becuase i have free turbos available to me off of 03's

 

I'm pretty sure it's not a direct bolt in because of the exhaust outlet and air outlet connections. It will bolt up to the manifold though, search for HE341 info. I think HE351CW's started in 04, 341's in 03.

I'd say if you can get them for free, it's definetly worth it, and a step up from the HY35 you have now. An 03 down pipe and some sort of adapter for the air outlet would get you going. Good luck.
