was wonderin what you guys might think of a hx40 for my truck. i pull with it sometimes and i dont really race it much since i dont have alot of goodies on it. my hx35 is starting to get alittle play in the shaft im all ears for sugguestions

 

If the hx35 has a minimal amount of side to side play, it's still got some life left to it. It's the in and out play you don't want. The hx40 is rather laggy. Might not hurt to just search around for a used hx35.

 

Depends on what your wantin to do with your truck as well.
A stock HX-40 is laggy, and is known for having a weak shaft.
I would think about maybe a BD super B if you have the money for it. A super B with some mid size injectors and your EZ would prob be a great ALL around set up.

On the other hand if you dont have the necessary funds, Might wanna look into turnin your 35 into a 35/40 hybrid. you could get that shaft play fixed while your at it and itd be a brand new, better turbo for around maybe 600 I wanna say.
