tst stacked

Hi guys, I just got a screamin deal on a tst pm3. I was wondering if I could stack the tst pm3 with my drag comp if I disconect the drags pump wire and run it in ez mode. What will the five power settings do for timeing and fueling in ez mode.

Thanks,mooseman

The Comp will act like an EZ with an on-off switch. There shouldn't be any change from level to level.

May I ask-- why buy a PM3 if you already have a Drag comp??

Just got a super deal on a pm3. Some guys running them say they come on a lot harder, and when stacked with an ez they are fun to run. If I like it great, if not ill sell it and make someone else a good deal.

thanks, mooseman

Mooseman: a friend of mine has the same setup on his truck.I've noticed there is definetly a difference on the sub-levels on the Drag Comp when plugged like an EZ..mainly "seat of the pants" if that makes sense. He made 430 with a PM3 comp, stacked with drag, and DD2's--B-1...ran great

Let me quote myself again:

"I can honestly say there's very little difference in just a drag comp VS. the tst pm3 comp stacked over the drag comp in EZ mode -- I drove both of them (back to back) last month on my truck. With the 2 boxes stacked, the truck smoked a little more down low. However, the top end power was too close to the same to feel the difference between the two setups. Power comes on a little sooner with the tst box, but the same power is available with the drag comp. The tst box is HARSH and bucking is an everyday occurance. Not so with the Edge.

The biggest difference? Being lazy, the buttons on the drag comp are much easier to press and respond immediately. (pesky ricers beware.)

Edge 1, TST 0
