Tst

Ok has anyone else had any trouble with connections with their TST box....I cannot get the scotch lock to hold for anything....It worked for a bit now nothing again and the scotch lock is broke...is there any other way to do this....Also has anyone else had their EGT Gauge read OPEN.....It will work for about 2 min then it just says OPEN....and when its reading its not even close to being right......Im about to the point to buying the pillar gauges and taking my truck to TST and having them do everything....

throw the scotch lock away. They have now replaced them with some doodad that i was quite impressed with. It made the install about a 15 minute job. This included tapping the pump wire and an ignition hot wire under the hood.

I dunno what they are called, but it makes life a whole lot easier.

let me try to find the tst instructions, then ill get back with you.

"Posi-Tap" You can get them at wallmart, much better then Scotch locks. or you could get a pump cover

Posi-tap. O'reilly's carries them here locally.

heh, i was close!

They are bout the best thing out there for splicing wires (that ive found)

i was dreading tapping the wire on my vp but when i seen the "posi-loks" it made the whole process very easy.
