Old timer diesel mechanic I know once told me that one the greatest improvements ever made that effected diesel longevity was throw away filters rather than the kind you have to clean. I tend to agree.
Sure could buy plenty of Fleetguard filters for the price of one of those units.

Is says it filters down to 30-45 microns. I'd say my vacuum cleaner filters better than that Our oil filters are 2-7 micron from what I can tell.

The previous link doesn't tell you squat about the product, check this link.

They explain the micron rating of the paper filters in relationship to the washable ... pretty interesting!

I wouldn't trust an new unproven aftermarket oil filter.

So none of you guys running one? Yeah, infidel, you could but lots of Stratopores for that price, but what do they rate those filters at?
Anyway, just looked like a cool product to me, although I don't think I'd want to screw around with washing an oil filter every time I do a change.
Good for a show truck....probably. Good for a CTD that gets used every day.....who knows?
