Took the truck for a spin yesterday after doing the APPS correction, Had exhaust brake on and goosed it at the light to play a little....had to slow for a turn and the tranny kicked down to 2nd with the ebrake engaged...made the turn and the truck died!!!
No idiot lights no codes no nothin
Stopped and put it into park...and re-started, fired right up and no more problems??

Could the problem be with the larger injectors I just installed or was it related to the apps calibration?? I 'm lost here

I wonder if when the tranny kicked down with the e-brake on it put such a load on the engine that it killed itself. Is this the only time this has happened or has it happened before?

 

I'd guess the torque converter clutch didn't de-clutch in time and stalled the motor.

 

Yes, it is the first time it has happened!
I'm thinking it was the TC also as I was on it pretty good and then let up real quick to make the turn when it stalled. Hasn't done it since so hopefully all is good!!
