Re:tricks

If it is a 94-98 12v you can slide the stock cam plate to get an extra 40 or so hp. maybe more depending on your year. the camplate is under the AFC housing on the back of the pump. there is 4 bolts that hold it on. one is a break of bolt and is a pita to get off. once you get it off loosen the two screws that hold the plate down and slid it all the way to the front of the engine.
any more questions on how to do it PM me and i will go into a little more detail
DM01

Re:tricks

Careful though those 2 little screws holding the plate can also be a major PITA! >

I'm getting ready to open my AFC housing once again tomorrow because when I had it open tonight I couldn't get the dang screws to budge!

Re:tricks

An impact driver will loosen those screws like nothing. A great and fairly cheap tool. Every toolbox should have one.

Re:tricks

Finally got it! Just needed a bigger screwdriver! One that extended out each side of the screw about 2/8's of an inch!
