Plans are 350-400 HPs , 4" exhaust & exhaust brake , turbo not sure yet maybe 35/40 but 4" ?, trans. ??? do I need triple disk [ not compition pulling racing ] 7-10k mountain , desert towing, and then how much of what Goerends does can I do myslef [ mechanic/tech for 30 yrs. only a few trany builds ] or I may use $$$ for motorcycle to just go to Goerend Bros. , but how much of a build , last is the cost of triple and other opptions. will be seeing some $$$ soon , not a lot but would like to use as much as of it possible for mining claim & equiptment.

 

John, your best bet would be to call Dave and see what he says. From what I understand he will sell you what you need and give you all the technical support you require. I have a single (I think) disc and I have no problem with it holding, although I am only at 299 rear wheel HP. Call Dave and tell him all you can, he won't steer you wrong.

Mn Tom , talk to him once , and he was helpful , but I like to get so many ?s answered before jumping in that I did not want to tie him up too long when theres all this info here . and some of the opptions I'm looking at I'm finding 2nd hand and the like and then even more I do not like the idea of using his time and spending $$$ elswhere, I was PMed by someone about a triple disk that sounded like too good not to buy , then someone els had 35/40 & Ebrake , but ??? about the turbo being 3 1/2" and turbo mnt.[ I was leaning to inline] the brake is off an M.T. , mines an auto , but again the price is temping a compromize. trying to do mods once rather than ,opps that didn't work , have to do again.

 

I spent a little time time talking to Dave and for me he recommended his triple disc , probably because I tow a 10k lb trailer several times a year. I think he would have suggested his single disc if I towed lighter. Hope this helps.
By the way mine's been in 7 months. and so far it has performed flawlessly.

 

I've been talking to someone that I can get a triple from , spouse to be the same that Goerend's use , I should get more info to see, but not much more $$$.
