Tranny shot (thanks Quad)
I know a couple guys who have had their transmissions built by local hot rod trans builders. They are used to building muscle car stuff, not diesel stuff and all of them are having issues. Everyone likes to save money but you just can't beat a proven product from a company that stands behind it 100%.
I wish you luck, but have a feeling you will be regretting it down the road.

Update. Got a call from the trans guy today. He asked, just what are you doing with this truck? I asked why. He told me the clutch pack was completely "welded" solid. He said in twenty plus years of working he had never seen that before. He said I was going to need some better parts
Any way, new Billet TQ and a 5 disk clutch pack going in.

*****************UPDATE*********************
Went to a local DHRA event this past weekend. Made 5 passes and welded the clutchpacks together. Also destroyed the Billet TC. I dont know if this would've happened with a DTT, Goerend, etc. but when I got home the local tranny shop said they have never seen one trashed this bad. They rebuilt it under warranty but I think I will be atleast upgrading the TC and Valve body!
