Tranny Finally

Well im finally going to be able to beef up the ol'tranny. My cuz who is a certified master mechanic for mopar is goin to do the work for $0. So i figure a triple disc converter, valve body, and lock up switch. So roughly what will the price be for only the parts? Also once its done what should be my next bomb? Im thinking 3k gsk and maybe some injectors. Would 370s be too big for just the tranny like this and a 3k gsk and maybe a modified stock plate? Thanks

Parts to do the tranny can very greatly, call georand and tell him what you have in mind and he will shoot you a strait answer. My guess would be 1500-2000 if you need the tripple disk or 1000-1500 if you go with a single which is good for 400hp.

Do the 3gsk by all means, you will love it!!!

Order an exhaust housing with the injectors, it is going to get toasty.

good luck and keep us posted

Here is a short clip from the very detailed reply Dave sent me a short while back,

we have several people who are running in the 500-700 hp range with the trans we sell for $.... plus freight prox $200 each way
it has a triple disc converter with the dual blade stator which is very tight from prox 1800 rpm and up (price would be $400 less for the converter with the single blade stator but at 600 hp I think you will want the tighter dual blade stator) it also is very drivable around town does not try to pull the engine hard at stops and will stall up easily ( spool up time will depend somewhat on the turbo set up but usually between 1.5 to 3 seconds to get from idle to 1500 rpm again depending on the turbo set up)

I was mainly wonderin what size injectors would be the biggest i could go with stock turbo, trip disc converter, valve body, and when i add injectors probably a 3kgsk and is there any other cheaper mods i could do at the same time that would be well worth it?
