Theres this guys that wants to trade me my lift (see sig) for his setup. He has some stock springs that he had streched to equal a leving kit with some bilstien shocks. My question is will the springs be as good as they should be, after being streched 2.5" or should i just tell him i dont want the trade. Oh he also is gunna put in some cash with it. thanks in advance

 

I woldn't trade, the springs aremade out of high tension steel. If they are stretched then they are more likely to break.

rjordan You never stated why you were even considering the trade...do you want to lower your truck back down or just looking for a change? I'd bet that other fella woul dbe willing to make the trade (the mention of adding some cash to it to sweeten it for you a bit), think you'll end up on the short end of the stick big time.

 

im lookin at going back to stock,.......well a leveling kit. but im lookin at tradin for a leveling kit, or just sellin the lift tires and wheels. the cops are harrassing me so i said the heck with it, i'll just go back down, so the cop cant say ANYTHING!!!
