Toyo M-55s

I can't say enough about these tires. Had them installed on Friday and towed the 5th wheel home on saturday from the In-laws 2nd home in Pena Blanca. The mud was horrible. These things kept themselves clean and pulled the 5th wheel out with minimal issues. They tow like a dream with no wobble or sway. If they last like they are rumored to I'll never think of buying another offroad towing tire. I'll see about getting some pics up later. They aren't gonna win any beauty awards for their looks but after being soured by good looking tires that can't last or allow you to tow what your truck was designed to tow, I'll take function and form over pretty.

They are good tires, just don't expect great milage from them. I didn't even get 25K out of mine and I had them rotated VERY regularly! I agree they are a great traction tire but the wear SUCKS!!!!

I have Open country's now and they seem to wear alot better but still handle well

Thumbs up

I got 122,000 miles out of my first set and probably could have gotten more.
The only thing that I do not like about these tires is that I am giving up decent traction on ice for the hard compound. [Is there such a thing as decent traction on ice?] I can live with that. When it gets icy and I am on a grade...I have to be real careful on the throttle as I can break loose...towing or empty, four wheel drive or not. My second set had over 100K miles on them too. I rotate every 10K, tow at least 50% of the time and whether I ran the psi at 55 or 70, they wore very well. I like the sound of them roaring down dry roads too.
the set I have now are at 80K miles and are showing less wear and I did air these up to 75 all around. Who knows maybe I can get 140,000 from a set.

I knew I heard they wore like iron.
When people go through tires to fast its usually a worn out frontend problem.

Yeah my tire guy said they regularly see 80k ou tof a set. After my last set of Load E rated BFG ATs lasted a very generous 22k I had to look for a better alternative.

Any one that can post picks of these guys on their trucks, please do. I've seen 'em before on a ferd but long time ago. Thinking of swithching from the bfg's myself they are a good tire but wear too fast.
I got 285's on now and don't want to go too much smaller as I like the stance of my truck right now!

Im looking at all kinds of 17" sizes on google. 1010tires.com only gives them a rating of 2.9 out of 5. How good could they be?

Mine are 235/80R17's same size as the stock tires that came on the truck.
All the DHL trucks up here use them and they also net 100K plus.
