I just bought a bully dog tork dog last week, today i decided to check for code in the computer. I had an overboost code. I cleared it out, and took if for a drive, as soon as i hit 22 psi or so it gave a boost code.

Were is the Boost fooler? I think this unit is going back.

 

did you buy it new or used? if its an older box there may be no provision for the map sensor/boost fooler

if you got a good deal on the box, a used boost fooler should be easy to find

brand new. adjustable stock, 30 hp, 65 hp.

 

I did some more checking on the snap on scanner, Looks like it monitors the boost over 2200 rpms, If it goes out of range it throws the code. I don't know what the psi is that it take to throw the code but I would think 20 psi or above.
Anybody have trouble setting codes with there boxs?

I took my Bully dog torque dog back to the dealer and tried a different torque dog. It also threw overboost code when the boost got over 20 psi. They gave me an Ez edge to try. The ez would only show 17 psi on the scanner and 25 on the guage and no over boost codes. So the boost fooler works on the ez. I have drove the ez about 300 miles now and i really like the power. It has more low end compared the bully dog, it run like my Vanaaken box does. I wonder what's the deal with the bully dog?
