Tonneau Cover, will it fit

I have an option to buy a used Mopar tonneau cover for my truck. It's currently on a 98 Ram 1500 short bed. Will it fit my 02 2500 short bed?

Thanks
Bill.

I believe it does fit. I'm drawing off of my memory, so take that for what its worth. But when I bought mine for my '02 i believe it also fit the 1500's

well, i got a DEAL on one that was too long...I cut a half inch of each rail length,

and just rolled the extra material under the leading edge, and put three tie wraps across there, with a little hole in the tarp.

i will take a pic, i have it off, but have to put it back on today.

been like that 2 years, i'll just buy the right tarp when it dies, and reuse the frame.

cheap is a key word in many transactoins in my life...

Maybe someone with a 1500 short bed could measure it for you, and you could see if it was the same size your bed. Just an Idea.

I did some shopping on the internet and compaired 4 different brands, both the 98 1500 and 02 2500 use the same part number. For $50 I'll give it a shot.

Thanks again.
Bill.

I had one on my dually and hated it during the winter. Once you popped the thing off to haul something, had to wait until spring so it would stretch enough to get it back on.
