Anyone know the true timing advance and fueling parameters difference between the Comp and the DD Ultimate Fueling Module. DD says theirs has a smaller intial timing advance. What does this do? Has anyone really compared both boxes? Dyno difference?

 

I don't know the difference. But if DD says that their's has a smaller initial timing advance, the only thing I could see that helping is low boost smoke.

 

I was around DD when Lawrence was fine tuning their version.<br>I listened to a few trucks with different timing programs.<br>A less agressive timing pkg is something I am in favor of.<br>Too much timing is not a good thing.<br>I heard it at DD and When I stacked my TST Pmax 3 Comp and an EZ...It was WAY too much.<br><br>Lawrence did a lot of testing and research to get what they have to offer.<br><br>My truck with DD 3's and the above power combination was really harsh on the top end in the higher rpm range...I actually defeated the power and boost some.<br><br>The Edge or DD box alone will do well.<br>I think that with a more agressive injector is where you might see more of a problem with timing. Of course that is just my conclusion from what I saw and heard. ;D
