Do a search, some guys have talked about marking the harmonic balancer and moving the timing about 1/4 to 3/16. When I changed mine the first time it was at about 12 and we moved it to 18.5 it was a bit over 3/16. A buddy of mine has the gauges to set timing, I was afraid to try the mark moving deal. Timing sure does make them run better.
