Timing?
Ok, the smarty increases timing but how much? The drag comp increases timing how much? If I run the smarty which say has more timing (than the comp) will the drag comp still increase as much or is it overridden by the smartys timing. I have driven with the smarty on 9 and the drag comp and seem to get my best mileage. Unloaded running empty of course. Anyone know?

I have been told that if you run a timing box and Smarty to stick to the even numbers on the Smarty. You don't want to run too much timing.
When i tried out a Smarty i stuck to the even numbers.
Someone with one will chime in soon enough.

I beleive the comp just piggybacks off the ecm signal and modifies it. So the smarty on odd settings would have the ecm asking for so much fuel/timing and the comp asks for more fuel/timing.
The biggest problem will be the head gasket. More timing causes more cylinder pressure. Some folks have lost gaskets from running the added timing of a hot rod pump with a comp.
