tie-rod boot question

has anyone used energy suspension bushings for the tie rod end boots.. I did the T-steering conversion some time ago and its great the only problem I have spotted in over a year is the left outer tie rod boot is torn.
I really dont want to spend money on a whole tie-rod kit just for the boot...

I have one on mine for the same reason. IMHO not as good as original but about the only thing I could find. Much better than the torn one I had.

As a matter of fact I just noticed that box on the shelf today. Still has one in it as they came 2 in the box. Not sure how much this can help as I don't know if the stick on tag is from Energy Suspension or the store I got it from. Don't even recall which store now. Anyway the #@ on it is 9 .13131G. There is also a # on the cover itself also. # 13014. HTH.

When putting new ball joints and tie rods in mine, my buddy tore one of the ball joint boots. I just cleaned it up REALLY good with brake cleaner, then used the permanent Loc-Tite (clear) which is darn near the same as crazy glue. To this day, no leaking grease and has held up great. That was the only option, since I didn't want to buy another ball joint and no one sold just the boot.
