Angry Throttle stumble with Quadzilla Adrenaline and/or Edge Comp Drag??

I noticed today on my highway trip that when I went to pass anybody, my truck was stumbling and buckin? I switched back to my Edge Drag to confirm that it wasn't the Adrenaline and same thing, stubling and buckin. Fuel pressure is steady 12 psi and no codes at all. Tried the Smarty#4 and the Edge comp, still bucking and stumbling. The only time I get smooth passing poiwer is with everything off. My SO VP44 is 3 months old so I don't think it was that and my connection to the stealth cover is 100%? Maybe a bad TPS or a bad Map Sensor?? Any suggestions or tips guys???

Possibly the fuel filter? Did you try the Adrenaline/Smarty stack? My truck did a wierd stumble for a while & after a week started bucking, turned out to be the APPS going out.

Ya Jamie, I tried the Adrenaline/Smarty stack. Now that some crazy surging going on there!! Did you replace your APPS?? I going to try and reset it and see if that fixes it. I kept my Comp Drag in unhooked incase I ran into Adrenaline problems.

Mine is doing the same thing. Is yours stummbling in higher rpms?? Mine starts that at 2500rpm. I turn the edge to stock and problem goes away. Keep me updated if you get a fix and I will do the same for you.

Good deal. Also, my turbo timer does not work. Truck won't shut off so i turned the timer off. My next step is contacting edge.

I did replace my APPS. It went bad all of a sudden while driving & I had no throttle responce, cleared the code & drove to the nearest shop to buy one. My symptoms were as you describe, then bam! no responce at all.

No worries, it's your throttle positioning sensor on these trucks.

All good now, but you don't want to buy one if it is not needed....I think it costed $350 or so.

If it not a fuel supply problem, have a look at the IAT because it affects the timing. APPS could be the trouble maker aswell.

Hey Brett, what's going on. I seen your truck in the last 8 lug magazine on the dyno at August Blackout. I'm going to try the APPS reset first and then go from there. My AIT is about 6 months old. I was cleaning the old one and broke it so I don't think that's the problem. It must be the APPS?

Try Alberta heavy parts in Burn't lake they have cummins parts for way cheaper than the dealer. I'll have to grab that mag...

Good luck......
