Geno's has a big line kit. It includes the brass fittings which replace the five banjo bolts (which are restrictive). The hose, I think is 1/2" and fits on the fittings as you need them--you cut to length, lubricate and press on. Mount the pump back in front of your fuel tank. I installed a ball valve so I could shut off the fuel supply to change out the pump without a diesel bath. If you take your time, have a little mechanical ability figure 3-4 hours---or all day if you don't!! It's not a diffiult project. Cost including valve maybe $130

the big line kit will not help your vp electronics, which is a good percentage of vp failures but it sure won't hurt the internals

I put the short hose on the pump first before I cut the line. Then as soon as it separated, I jammed it on. Lost about 3 ounces. Most of that was what drained out of the line up to the filter. I caught that with an oil drain pan. If you're ready and quick, you get no diesel bath.

As far as a diesel bath goes, I had to burn my clothes. Who needs instructions.

I like the smell of diesel. seriously though if you let the tank get down to about a 1/4th it doesn't come out at least not on mine.
