Taking it in for service...Edge concerns.

What do I need to do other than removing any reminants of the Edge box to ensure that the dealer has no idea it was installed? I read somewhere something about cycling the key on and off and certain number of times and some kind of run timer??? Can they find in the PCM any indication it was on the truck?

Why do you feel the need to remove it at all? The computer is smart. It's going to tell them you had it there anyway. : Besides, assuming whatever you're taking it in for service for has nothing to do with the Edge, why do you think they'd give you grief over it?

I've heard that you can pull both battery cables for at least 30 min, and that will clear some memory. It depends on how deep they go into the computer to look. I've heard that only the cummins equipment can pull codes out that would tell if you had a box or not, but some people have said that some dealerships have this equipment now. If your going in for something non-engine related, I wouldn't worry too much.

Why does he think they'll give him grief over it? Because they most likely will. Depends on the dealer. Many of them will tell you your little EZ caused all kinds of problems, when it didn't. Better to be safe than stuck with a non-warranty situation on something not related to the Edge. Pull it off, disconnect the batteries, and hope for the best

I took mine in for service about 3 weeks after having a Bully Box on mine. It started smoking badly all the time, they had to replace the ECM. No problems with dealer getting it replaced.
