Dyno around Haverill, Mass
Dyno around Haverill, Mass
I want to put my truck on the dyno, does anyone know of one around Haverill? I have the blue chip Premium FMS, stage 3's, Propane, 12cm HX-35 (43.9psi), Edge EZ, SBC, 4.10's, Exhaust... that is about it. It is a 2002 5-spd 3500, 2wd. Just recently I took it to New England Dragway and ran a 2.2 sec 60', 9.29 1/8th mile @ 78 mph, and a 14.27 @ 97mph in the 1/4. I ran out of gear a ways before the 1/4, and I had a hard time shifting with the new clutch. This was also with the propane turned way down. I also could only get about 34psi out of it. What do you think my dyno numbers should be... The truck weighs around 6500 lbs with me in it.
Re:Dyno around Haverill, Mass
Welcome to the area, ET. If you're looking for a top notch diesel shop in the area, it would be MassDiesel located in Norfolk, MA. just off I-495. Owner is Scott, and he's a good guy. Occasionally, he'll hold a Dyno Day down the road in nearby Warwick, Rhode Island at Pritchard Hi Performance. We also have get togethers at Hooter's in Whethersfield, CT a suburb of Hartford and a central meeting point in New England. This is mostly show and shine, but occasiionally some wrenchin'll take place. MassDiesel also holds Wrench Day. In fact, there's one coming up. Here's the link:
