Is there an aftermarket kit made for hooking up a tach to the motors without the crank sensor? And what kind of tachs are you guys running and how well do you like them? I have a whole custom dash setup with 9 Autometer Ultralite guages. There's a big blank spot where the Tach should be, because I can't see putting a 10,000 rpm tach in a diesel truck and I'm sure to have autometer make a custom 4000rpm that match would cost a fortune.
All the guages, lights, stereo, and switchlamps are lit up red, so I'd like to keep the same theme, not have one green instrument on the dash
