Switch to enable both high/low beams at once?
The guy that did this I believe his screen name is rattlerattle. Going to do it to mine also. here is the link https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...t=rattlerattle
just did this on mine, took five min. and worked great. while i was at it i put some of those sylvania silverstar headlights in. it made a big difference, not sure it was worth $40, but if i miss a deer i guess it will be.
I did RR's low beam mod awhile ago and it works quite well, I also use the silver stars.........Brite box and RR both say that the bulb life does not seem to be compromised with both the high and low beam on.........I have not had any bulb issues to date either.....
PLEASE HELP!!! I have no highbeams!!!!!!
I know this post is like 9 years old and I'm hoping that someone still read this...

I have read your post and thought it would be the conclusion to my problem, however when I looked for these wires I was able to locate the violet wire with a white strip. But the two "light green" wires that you speak of aren't there. I have a green with a black strip and a green with a light blue stripe. My model is a 2003 and yours was a 2002. Both are the same generations I believe so I wouldn't think it would have different wires. I've tested both green wires and neither appear to be attached to the headlights.
Here's why I need my low and high beams to work together. I decided to do my own retrofit projects. But I did not buy the kit because it was over $300 and all together I only spent $80 for both the projectors and HID's. But anyways I used an H1 bulb for the headlights because that's was the projectors called for. I hooked my low beam up to the HID and the high beam up to the cut off in the projector. Not thinking..I forgot when you turn your high's on the lows go out. So now my light goes completely out but the cut off's in the projector are engaged like they are supposed to be. So now I need to figure out how to be able to use my low beams with my highs. I tried the mod you posted, but for the life of me I can not figure this simple thing out. I see other guys have done it with no problem. If anyone has any pictures of how they did I it would be greatly appreciated!!!
