Has anyone had any experence with the superchip d-box? I can pick up one for $150 pulled off a 1999 before the truck was traded. I have a 2000, this is my question, will it work and how good are they?

 

I'm not too familar w/ Superchips products but you can call them up and ask them if it will work. The worst that they can say is no.

 

The Superchip D-Box is a re-badged Edge EZ. $150 is a great price.

Your map sensor connections are the same as the 99, but the data link plug will be different shaped and all you'll need is the triangle-to-flat adapter for it.

 

Hate to bring this one back from the dead, but is the Superchips box better/worse then the Edge EZ, or is it literally the same box? And is there any benefit of the Comp box over the EZ (Bang for $ worth it?)

EZ and D-box = It's the same box.

The Comp is a different box. It taps onto the injection pump wire, has adjustable power levels, and it makes ~60 more hp over an EZ.
