Cool Super B or HTB2, please vote

The Super B has a 62mm wheel and 12 cm housing and a kit with downpipe retails $1,265. The HTB2 also has a 62mm wheel and a 12 or 14cm housing and their kit retails around $1,400. what do you guys think?

What do you do with your truck, and are you going to put more mods on it. Id go with the htb2 because you can upgrade housings and wheels if needed and they have a better array of choices.

Agreed here

BUT with the choices given, id say the Killer B2 is the better choice overall..

the phat shaft line are the ones with the smaller wheel like the HTB2, then you get in the super phat shaft which is the same as the High Tech 71 series with the bigger wheel. both can be in the 62/12 or 62/14 configuration.

Who's super B is this? I am sure the super b's are a 57mm compressor. Call High Tech Turbos, they will know for she. The HTBG they sold was basicly a super b and is a 57mm compressor.

I would say the super phat shaft 62 and the HTT 62 with the 71 wheel would be to big for your fueling setup. You will need bigger injectors, to get her to spool fast.
I thought we all had this figured out last night?

Like I said last night in the other thread, you should be able to pick up a HTT 62/14 with a 4" downpipe for under $1200. I got mine for $1165 shipped and that was with the downpipe.

The regular Phat Shaft 62 or HTB2 instead of the HT71 units might be more appropriate if your dyno numbers in your sig are current. With my truck, the SPS62 doesn't really come in till around 1800 rpm. A tighter housing would probably be advantageous, especially with an auto. If you've got more fuel since then, the bigger turbine would be better. My 62 doesn't come close to cleaning up the smoke anymore with whats in my sig.
