Subs under the rear seat
I have seen many boxes with the 10" subs under the back seat and even a few with 12." However, has anyone done it with 15" subs?
It'd be nice to gain the rear seat back as we're expecting our baby girl in the end of May. A car seat, a 30lb ausi and a 100 lab may be tight with 2 15's on the back seat.
I know that someone is going to say 15's are too big for a truck, but they're what I have right now. Had them in my wrangler when I used it as a daily driver and have them just sitting on the back seat now.
If no one has a company they know that builds 15's for under seat storage, how about where I can get the dimension to make a box that will fit.
Also, any pictures you can post of your set up under the back seat would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks all!

Don't know what subs you're using, but it seems as if it would be somewhat difficult to build a box that would meet minimum air space requirements. There's not a lot of room underneath our rear seats. One 15 might be feasible, but I think fitting two under there is stretching it. Just my $.02. I'm in the process of drawing out the dimensions for my dual 10" sub box.
They would have to be some pretty crappy 15s with a tiny magnet to be able to fit under there. I have seen a lot of new shallow sub designs that require small box volumes, but not sure if they make them in 15" versions.
I attempted to fit a single 12" Kicker CVR under my back seat, and didnt have the depth required. Without cutting and dropping the floor or raising the seat, I chose to put the 12 under the front seat center console, much like the JL Stealthbox. I didnt have a lot of room left, but that is a possibility, you might could squeeze one 15 under the center console?? The center seat comes out with 4 bolts, so it would be easy to take out and measure.

anybody ever stuffed a sub under the front seats?? would it work i dont know much about them was thinkin about doing it but if it wont work i'll wait put them under the back seats when i get a tool box
I ordered a dual 10" box for my 3500 yesterday for $100 shipped. check ebaymotors.com
my .02.. sell the 15"s on craigslist and buy two 10"s and a box for the same $$$
then the amp you need can be smaller. + 10"s are more efficient by far.

With my truck the rear seat works normally. I didn't cut the floor and I didn't lift the seat up. My subs are shallow design 12in diameter, I can find the model if you guys need it. I've seen a few truck that run subs under the center seat. They work pretty nice once I hooked them up to my 2500 watt amp. They are almost as loud as my truck is.
