stumble at 1500 rpm or so

ok i put in a set of 370s, bhaf 4" exhaust and i have been having fun. i had this stumble before, but it shows worse now. if you punch it just sitting there it will stumble at around 1500 or so then shoot past no problem. it pulls well in 3,4 and 5th but you will feel it in second. i have not set my timing yet, that will be tommorow. i don't see any fuel leaks. any ideas besides timing??? thanks mike

Mine does the same thing and everyone that I talked to said to set the timing. Hope that I can get that done soon.

If I mash mine off the line with the Comp on 2x3, it will shudder up to about 1800, then pull smoothly. Only in first gear.

Big blue My truck did this for about a year. The best thing I did to get rid of it was to go to the FMS by blue chip and the suncoast TC. This combo helped alot, but did not go away until I changed to the step #5 and the HX40. Ovetfueled

I think the reason that it is doing this is that it is throwing to much fuel in to it with no boost so it kind of tries to kill it self. That, and the high stall TC doesn't help much.
