stock lift pump ?

Do you think that a big line kit and a pre-filter would help a stock cummins lift pump last longer? Or is it a waist of money?

I'm a firm believer in the big line kit. I've had it on my truck for close to 2yrs on the same stock LP. It really helps pressure and I think it lasts longer because it's not vibrating around so much on the engine. Well worth the money.

Yeah, mine is in the tank and I put a big line kit on and it helped tremendousely! I am working on a friends truck right now. It is a 2000 slt, with hx35 turbo, BHAF, TST pm2, and lift pump went. I caught it while changing her fuel filter. Caught it before vp44 went. Hope it didn't hurt the injector pump . Got a stock cummins replacement pump in and put a red light low fuel pressure light in for her.
