No. I am installing the rock solid bushing and I can't get the shaft off of the column shaft.

UM....you shouldnt have to do that.....if you are doing the bushing like this thread is about. All you need to do is take it loose at the gear box and then cut the spring off. Then remove the old seal/bushing. Then install the new bushing. NOW you can take the sterring colum out.....but that is more work that needs to be done.....BUT removing the shaft out of the colum....you dont want to do that.....

No, I don't think I conveyed my message clearly enough. I am trying to do this underhood, and removing the shaft just above the knuckle off of the column shaft...but nevermind. I got it off. I've got everything off. Just taking a break, slugging down a drink, then back out to clean off the shaft and put the bushing in.

Okay, I finished up inbetween watching football and other things, took her for a drive.....wow.

Best mod yet. Well, combined with those new Bilsteins that is a major improvement. Nice feeling to the steering. No more popping. Truck doesn't wander as much. Now I just have to slap on that DSS and I think I'll be good to go.

I can't recommend this product enough.
