rock solid steering bushing

I got my bushing to fix my shaft but the play that I have is upwards from the area that the new bushing goes in. Is there another bushing or bearing in that area that can be replaced?

If anyone has the instrcution manual from rock solid, look at the picture of the completed auto column. my play is in the area above the shift collar.
I cant see how the bushing would fix that area as it wont go that far up the shaft.

Anyone have ideas?

thanks
lewis

It's very easy to install the rocksolidramtruck bushing, all you need to do is cut the retaining washer at the end of the spring on the steering column shaft with a small cutting wheel, the whole assembly will slide off and you can pry and bend and pull the stock bushing out. then slide and tap the new bushing in place. I really like how the bushing has tightened things up, but my power steering pump was on the verge of going out and right after I put the bushing in my power steering pump died
