I was thinkin bout hookin up a comp box...and use a stealth plate so I dont gotta pierce the pump wire.....but I also heard that dealers can take off the pump cover and still find out u had a chip.....is this true???

 

They can but usually dont. Cummins would be the one to do it when they get the pump back from the dealer, but by then you would have been out the door with your waranty bill and dealer is responsible basicly. But you should be fine with the slealth plate.

 

I used it just becouse it makes a cleaner connection
