TST mounting???

I got it hooked up and everything checks out. WOW!!! This was the missing Bomb! Can't wait to get it on the dyno, I'll post those new #'s asap.

Now I am looking for a final mounting spot. I have the remote and the main box is a little larger then I expected. Got any good ideas for a location? Where did you mount yours? I'm thinking of placing the remote in the ashtray (my Comp was there) and would like a good accessible but hidden spot for the main box.

TIA

Don't know if this will work but what about mounting the remote on a L bracket coming off the bottom gauge holder and hiding the box up under the dash panel down by the brake release. That is what I am thinking about do when I order my TST COMP this spring.

i put my main box on the dash right by the gauges. its very easy to switch on and off there. then i routed the wire for the remote up the a piller, over the visor and to the center overhead console. i like it there

My remote is mounted here...

The TST used to be mounted behind the knee bolster out of sight, but I could still reach the switch by reaching under the dash. Now it's mounted under the storage area by the shifter so that I can see the lights.

I took off the plastic piece under the steering wheel off and zip tied the box to one of the metal collumns. The box is completely out of sight, but
I can reach down right over the brake and flip the switch, not that I need to since the remote's in the cubby hole

i think mounting the box under the dash where its hidden is great. you can still reach it then i have seen the remote over on the right side of the steering wheel right under the left vent. This way when people are riding with your or whatever they don't see any box or any wires and thinks its somewhat stock untill you step down to the floor. i dont know i'm left handed so this would work for me

FYI, the only reason I moved my TST box is that the lights on the actual unit are more responsive than the lights on the remote.

For example, I would normally run on #4 and the fuel light would not be on while cruising. When I moved the box into view, I can now see that the TST is actually right at the borderline of providing fuel and providing fuel, even though the light on the remote isn't on.

Custom... I'll have to see if I can dig up a picture of the finished piece as it has 6 switches as well as the TST box mounted in it... it's on my younger brothers sled truck.
