star wheel info please

k im new to 12v's. i have a 96 12v drw club cab 8ft box i was woundering pro's and cons to turning my star wheel towards the block with out moving to replacing the fuel plate? im headin to texas to pick up a 9k 34' road king and was thinking about doin it, i have egt boost and trans gauges.

pro-better low-end fueling, con-for some allitle smoke, you can't go wrong with this mod, plus without moving the afc forward it will not smoke all that much

no, mine is turned enough that i can't get the screw driver on it anymore because it is under the housing. And it is easy to adjust so if you don't like it, or you want to turn it more just carry and 8mm allen, and a screwdriver and adjust as you go. Careful not to loose the sealing washer under the plug though!

YES- you can go too far if your "stock" plate is allready slid forward!! I had to back mine off a little so it would not blow thru the stock torque converter when it was locked up in o/d.

no my truck is stock i have not messed with fuel plate i sut need a little more power and i wanted to turn the wheel with out movin the plate
