Thumbs up Stan's Headers in Auburn, WA

I got the MagnaFlow exhaust system all mounted and wouldn't you know it, but I didn't really like how the last piece of the puzzle looked, the tail pipe. So I crawled around under there trying to get it where I wanted it but there was a Texas cowboy under this truck before I got it so that was problem #1. I live up towards Mt. Rainier and looked all over the Tacoma area for someone who "bends 4 inch exhaust tubing" but was having not much luck. I got more than one suggestion telling me about Stan's Headers on Auburn Way N there in Auburn, maybe 35 miles away from where I live. So after finding nobody really local for me I called him. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and suggested I come in first thing in the morning when they opened at 8:00 to I could helped right away and not have to wait. I asked about an appointment but he said to just be here on any week day when they open at 8:00. Boy, I'm going to REALLY have to be in the mood for this as the morning commuter traffic heading into King County better known as Boeing Country, is legendarily BAD and as a swingshifter I have almost forgotten what real lousy traffic is. Well, I got off early last night and woke up bright and early and thought, TODAY'S THE DAY for the ride up north to have my exhaust fixed right. I gave myself plenty of time I thought but it took over an hour and a half to finally roll into his parking lot. They opened promptly at 8:00 and got me right in. They tidied up my install and welded everything up and remounted the tail pipe and straightened that mounting mess up underneath. He gave me a tour of his shop there and it was quite impressive. I had never seen any real pipe benders and the like so it was a real treat to be given a guided tour from Stan himself. He had a couple of his workers doing my truck which took about an hour. Quick in and a quick out, except for the traffic, I enjoyed my morning watching em unscrew my truck even tho it did cost some $$. Oh well, it's done AND IT'S DONE RIGHT!! If you're looking for a GREAT exhaust shop that does EVERYTHING and you're near Seattle and the vicinity, check out Stan's Headers. They'll do it right and they'll treat you right!!!!
