6" miter cuts. I need to cut them down about 2"s and they'll be perfect!

This was when my stacks were a good 8"-10" above the cab. I recently cut 8" out of each side and it brought the bottom of the slash cut just about even with the cab. I'm much happier with them shorter.

for 2500's keep them close to the cab. Duelys do look good sometimes if they are taller. Gives it that big rig look. I like the stacks on the 3rd gen in the New Diesel Power mag. That is tall stacks done right.

On my dually the 4" miter cuts stand about 14" above the cab... wouldn't have it any other way.... BUT if you ever consider trying to get into a parking garage you won't make it, all the ones downtown here are 7'6" max, I'm at 7'10" now. (but when they were shorter they sure filled the place with rumble!)

On a dually with a long box the taller pipes 'fit' nicely.

Some quick pics of my dirty truck... why bother washing it in the winter up here....

My DIY 1/4" steel resonator box, hi-temp paint my foot, lasted about 3 months! But it makes for cool pine needle fires!!

Camera skewed the pipes, they really are plumb.
