That's some good information Paul. I know larger injectors add dynamic timing to some degree, but I've always been told the timing increase is relatively small. My understanding is that the Smarty will retard the timing at WOT while the EZ keeps the timing? Not sure if that's true.

I'll make sure to pay more attention to any indication of surge..

Take your pink shirt and purple leotard back where you came from.

 

I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but with the EZ and 275's, I would get a very slight surge when nearing 30 psi. Not like a miss, but like something trying to catch up.

 

fwiw, TSTCE/Smarty made 5 hp more than the TSTCE/EZ stack we did on my brothers truck... 531 v 526... (big sticks, big spinny thing, stock HO pump and a little water/meth)... truck has made over 600 with a HRVP44... all runs made on Floor-It's Dyno Dynamics Load Dyno.

 

I fully plan on keeping the smarty and stacking it with the TST and EZ.
