Well, he must have like a 2x6 (or smaller) square tubing to get it between the bed and the frame, or a body lift on the bed. The one on the drive side must be REALLY close to the fuel tank. They could just be seating in the bed (not hooked up). I would think the only way would be a body lift. JMO. where there's a well there's a way.

When or if you do find out for sure how it's done, I would like to know too. If the stacks are functional in the picture, I'd like to do it to my truck. Been thinking about building a stainless fuel tank which has cutouts that go around the stacks AND a toolbox on top of the tank. The above bed "Y" pipe and exhaust tubing just takes up too much room to be able to do what I want with an extra fuel tank and still be able to have room for a gooseneck hitch. I wonder if the frame rails can have a hole cut in them and stiffened with gussets, for the exhaust pipes to pass through them? I haven't gotten under my truck lately, to see what kind of clearance I would have between the fuel tank or anything else that might keep me from modifying the frame, without sacrificing the strength of the frame.

Cuz in Georgia

I've heard of guys using flex pipe and they squished it just enough to fit between the tank and body.

I've seen a truck running around that ran the exhaust pipes UNDER the frame.

thats a good shot there, makes it a lot easier to see how, and that there is room for a muffler, wonder how even the stacks flow.

I would go with 2x6 or 2x8 Box tubing...two exit pipes coming up through and ONE INLET...I have a pic somewhere of one IN THE BED

Another reason that guys go with the box design in the bed is to balance the smoke to the 2 stacks. Without the box, you have the smoke following the path of least resistance & usually has more coming out of one stack. The stack kits that have a "Y" pipe in the bed do the same thing, unbalaced flow.
