I have heard that but was told that it was only in rare streaks that they produce them and then they only sell them to loyal customers.

I dunno about that. My buddy ordered a dtt with all 3 billet shafts and he's definately not a big name guy. Try calling them and seeing what they say.

Sometimes DTT will let you order the RH output shafts if they're getting ready to order a set. Couldn't you get a different input shaft for your transfercase and use the RE shaft?

Are RH billet outputs hard to come by?? Surely not? What is different about them compared to the RE output.

I tried every body , evan DTT and they all said you can't break them so we don't make them . yes evan DTT said they never oder any cause they cost to much to have made . So I have sent one to a candian company and there are going to spec it ,but they beliave we are lookin at 750.00 each for 10 of them . So if that is going to be the price I am going to have them made up I should be able to off that many.

If you replace it with billet, it'll be like sticking a penny in place of a fuse, next time you might blow something farther (and more expen$ive) up the drivetrain.

it not that it is that hard to find a replacement , it is the inconvenice of the down time ,the cost of fixing it ,and my main problem the loss of the points at the event. as far as a fusible link if your worried ( the RE guys have full billit why not us ) use greaseable U joints they are weak enough to break and you can fix them at an event or home and it is a cheap fix. Each to there own thow. I just have a 7000.00 trans witch I perfer not to have or be my fuse. This probably is not a problem for a 600hp or less truck So depending on what you do with or want to do with your truck will depend on if you want or need to have billit parts.

Agreed, it all depends on how much boost you want to launch with.
I try to keep it around 10 psi and come out of the hole a few feet before stomping on it to keep from "blowing the Dodge Drivetrain Fuse".
But then I'm not looking for Warp Factor 9 time slips either.
