Question To Smarty or NOT ???

I just installed my F.A.S.S., HRVP44 and upgraded to newer gauges ( 60psi boost, 30psi fuel)

So what do I spend my money on next, Smarty or Not???

I don't want to tap the pump wire cause it will void my pump warranty and after paying for that sucker, I don't want to take chance's...

Other than smarty what else is their???

*van aken
*edge ez
*superchips

I don't think any of these will be a good deal without the tap wire??? Of course superchips has no tap wire...

Yes to Smarty! I would not recommend Edge EZ or Superchips and do not know about the Van Aaken.

Smarty will give you all the fuel that pump has to offer without a wire tap. Then look at injector/turbo/clutch upgrade if you want more power.

I have been waiting for someone to report on the Smarty on top of the HRVP. Even with your stock injectors, G-Note, I would expect a LOT of pre boost/low boost smoke. Power wise, it should be spectacular!

I'll have something to report once I get my clutch done and can do some serious testing I can smoke a lot on the higher settings, but went to sw1 after a few hours of testing and have been in paw-paw driving mode ever since. I beleive what I'll find is a very small window in the rpm range that I'll be smoking in with the higher settings or with heavy thottle. Maybe 1200-1500 +\-

HRVP....Smarty.... AND Mach 4's !!!
Only thing missing to make pre boost smoke is an auto tranny

Should be a great test bed for daily drive-ability! Let us know when you can, please.

Exclamation

So I guess the best combo for the smarty is a CAI, stock pump, F.A.S.S., injectors, fatshaft turbo , downpipe and big exhuast ???

To keep reliabilty and daily driver-ness...

Now that should be a nice combo that would keep EGT's low, and VP44 failure to a minimum...

But I guess a HRvp44, twin setup, 5" exhuast, and some BIG-Nasty injectors stacked with a drag Comp would be funner, but alot more $$costly$$...

Or all that except replace the comp with a TST comp that fuels to 4 grand
