SMARTY and Edge drag??

has anyone on here ever messed with stacking them and if so what numbers seemed to work the best... I've heard that runnin them together kills dyno numbers but seems to work really well hooked to the sled... just curious what anyone else would happin to think..

I have mine stacked, and I don't have any problems, the get up and go is amazing. I usually run the box on 2 w/ fuel down and the smarty on 4 and I put 475 on the dyno before I went from my 90 hp to 150's.

i have this stack, i think it has great driveability, but be careful only run the smarty on the even numbers. because they both add timing. where the smarty only does on odd numbers.

I tried it and lost power.

Driveability with this stack is much worse with big injectors in my case.

I always ran sw2, 5x5 & it felt strongest. You will lose power on the dyno with Smarty, but it sure does drive better.

Our applications may be just different enough. Maybe it's the trans and type of cruise.

Mine had horrible undriveable surge.

Smarty+ Drag Comp= No extra power, Either a TST/Smarty or a Edge Ez/TST stack. The smarty/TST stack seemed to make good power up top on the dyno while the other stacks fell of after 3k

i have noticed it has way more up top with the smarty out. but with my small set of twins and the smarty on 4 with the edge on 5. it feels like a rocket right off the low end. when i had sps66 it was hard to drive because all that low end fueling was just black smoke, i think it hurt spoolup.

thanks for the input guys. I usually run mine on fuel saver and don't even turn the edge on unless i'm at a pull.. might have to try the 4-5 setup like you guys were sayin. thanks again

I have not been able to dyno mine at its current configuration. With the juice on #6 and smarty on catcher8 it is not very streetable. Major surging with cruise. The throttle is super touchy. It suprises me to hear that they're not seeing power gains with smarty stacked on the dyno. Mt truck feels like it gets quite a gain with smart stacked, but like I say I have not had it on a dyno with this configuration.

Many people have shown a loss with the drag comp and smarty stack. If you look at their graphs, you usually see roughly the same torque, but since power comes on sooner it peaks at a lower rpm hence the power loss. You end up with more hp more of the time, but a little less on the dyno.

So from what you guys are saying, the Smarty on 4 and Edge on 5 will yield the best results?
