Sluggish on takeoff

I noticed these CTD's in stock form are sluggish when pressing the go pedal.

I have a 4" exhaust ordered, and will be put on next week, and plan on building and putting on the BHAF next weekend after the exhaust is installed.

After that, what will pep this baby up a little more when I press the hammer down??

Stock tranny, and will be that way, untill it dies..

slightly it might, the exhaust and bhaf will help the turbo spool quicker and inturn get the truck rolling quicker. I am not sure you notice a huge differnce, however you will if you tow compared to stock with egts

One of the problems with the auto is the weak torque converter it just isnt very efficient. But you can always add a fueling box like an ez, comp etc that will certainly help or injectors. I ran an ez for 100k and 275 injectors for 50k before I redid my trans. Just couldnt bring myself to spend that kind of money on something that though wasnt great, wasnt broke. After 110k I felt that I had gotten my moneys worth out of the stock trans and went for it (still wasnt broke). Couldnt believe the difference it made.

Thanks for the replies. 600 Megawatts, i thought the MAD ECM was pretty much for racing only...

I do tow a lot in the summer and fall during harvest time on the farm...

Well you hate to say it, but i think the best thing is to put in a modified torque converter and valve body. These torque converters have poor fluid coupling and slip really bad. Even adding extra hp the tranny will continue to slip and you will not get the full effect until a tranny mod. But i know what you mean about being sluggish. I have a stock tranny and motor and it feels like my neighbors kids are going to pass me on there tricycles.
