sluggish 4th & 5th gears.
well....
...., took my truck out for a quick 15 minute ride yesterday, and got out on the highway and gave her everything she could take, and when shifting from 3rd into 4th, the truck becomes a complete dog, it fell flat on its face. usually the truck will hold you back in the seat, and when i grabbed 4th and 5th gears, and put it to the floor, it took FOREVER for it to finally get enough speed up to need to shift. i havent really took it out and drove it that hard in a while, and before it was around town where i didnt have enough time to grab 4th or 5th, and i was wondering what would be a good way to fix this. i have different gears, and i know the motor is strong, but i think it may need more, and i was wondering if yall had any suggestions. i know i need a bigger turbo or twins (38-40 psi of boost isnt good for a modified stock turbo), and more fuel, but if anyone could help steer me or if anyone knows why its such a dog in 4th and 5th and will burn the 38s off the rims in 1-3, it would be appreciated.
