Slip yoke conversion

Is there a kit out there to convert from a slip yoke on the back of the 241 HD to a fixed yoke? It is time to replace my rear output yoke so now would be the best time to do it.

Might wanna call Tom Woods driveshafts on that one. I belive he`s in utah somewhere. He seems to be one of the premier drivelines guys. I know its common on the cherokees with the smaller TC. I would imagine it could be done.

For my Cherokee, I used the Advance Adapters SYE (Slip Yoke Eliminator), and had Tom Woods build me the driveshaft. Tom Woods is a top notch guy.

Advance adaptors, Tom Woods and JB will all be able to provide you with the correct slip-yoke eliminator kit.

Thought I was the only one with this problem...makes everything under the bed a mess!!! Would all I have to order is the SYE kit off the site and thats it? No modification the the driveshaft of u-joints etc.?

The driveshaft would need to be physically longer, plus you would need a double cardan joint on the driveshaft instead of the single u-joint.

Your driveshaft would have to be a two piece, since it now has to change length as the suspension cycles.

I imagine all in all this would be a stronger setup right? As far as driveshaft strength goes?
