slight stumble at WOT

I have a slight stumble at WOT sometimes, I have checked the obvious like injector leaks, FP is good, it seems to be a head scratcher Anybody ever ran into this, does the dodge read its own codes or do you need the pulg in aftermarket modules to retreive info? Past vehicles I owned had an on off key dance that would produce flashing lights that would dictate problems does this hold true for the cummins?

Turn the key on and off 3 times. On the third "ON", leave it on and the trip meter will display the codes. If you have a P0216 code, it's time for a new VP pump. Do you have a dead pedal sometimes? How bout hard starting when warm? Those are sure signs that the VP is going to die.

OK I got .
0500 - Vehicle speed ... running 285's would dictact that
0237 - Low boost low MAp votage - No suggestions from me
1693 - Can't find corresponding # problem

What would produce 0237 loose intercooler boot, I just installed a new turbo last week, maybe loose head bolt I can get 36 psi on the gauge though and it cools good and pulls hard except the miss.

well a map sensor would explain the stumble......and 1693 is as far as i know a companion code.

The companion code just means that there was a code set in the ECM.

I had the same type of problem you are. I checked codes and had to injection pump codes and a over boost code. Truck ran fine on with the comp box on everything but 4 and 5. On level 4 and 5 it seemed to miss at wot. I sent it in to edge, they sent me back a new box and everyting is fine now.

I have a low boost code I wonder if it would still relate to the box? I cleaned all the connections and lube them with dielectric grease clenaed the IAT drained the water seperator and disconnected the batteries to clear the codes. When I install the battery connections I'll check it again to see if that helps. I thought it has to be an injector but it makes no sense why it seems to be at level 4 & 5

OK spent a couple hours on the thing today chasing problems one I found was when I installed my turbo the oil return pipe was rubbing the wastegate shaft causing it to maybe stay closed or open or half open etc. Would this produce he problem of low boost if it was say stuck open. Anyway Fixed it and took it for a ride the max boost I could hit was about 36 psi The turbo is wastgated for 38 I think so it should build to at least that right?Still getting 0237 on the ecu diagnostic. Going to fab up a pressure tester tommorrow and cheak for leaks, being I have been seeing alot of smoke but I initailly passed it off to the new injectors I put in.
