sled Pulling questions

Got my new DD clutch this year and will be pulling at a few places. I see where it says eghaust must exit up or down. Well what about it you have the turnout stacks? Mine are faced straight back will that work or do I need to cut them off?
Thanks

AFAIK, The turn up or down means that you'll need to ensure the stacks do not point at the crowd. The reasoning is that you'll need to prevent turbo pieces from flying at the crowd in case of failure. There's another requirement in some classes that require two bolts crossing the inside diameter of the exhaust pipe for the same reason.

More along the same lines... What are you using for the drive shaft loops? Pictures? Do you have traction bars yet?

Thanks Aaron & Happy Pulling!

Do you know what part of the rules Mitchell is upset about?

I have no idea John. I only got that info from TDR and they don't know much more than that over there.

Someone added on TDR that some other "BIG DAWG's" might not be in attendance as well......

Sounds like I've got some phone calls to make b/c if the Competition trucks aren't going to be in Muncie then I won't be.

dodgeman 01 dont cut your stacks off if they exit back it should not be a problem .it wouldnt hurt to put the crossed bolts into your exhaust just to please the scitsos at the pulls. if you want to buy a set of straight stacks for the pulls pm me i know a good place to buy them. john
