Scotty replacement filters
Where can you buy a replacement filter for the old SCOTTY 2 air boxes? Mine is for a 99. I keep washing it out, but it is simply time to buy a new one. Thanks
Here you go.
Brian is awesome to deal with, he'll look after you.

Mike it is more cone shaped. I can't find any numbers on it anywhere.
Homestead, they have all 3rd GEN products. Those filters are not the same as mine. It is one of the older systems built before the SCOTTY company, or whatever they call themselves, shutdown, bankrupted, or just went out of business. If I got this wrong, then I apologize for any insinuation. The dealer I got them from wants to sell me a whole new unit, because he NO LONGER sells Scotty products.
ANYWAY, it is a 99 Truck with a SCOTTY 2 long, cone shaped filter, in a plastic tube with an opening at the firewall & fender outlet.

Not sure if you scrolled down the list or not, but they have the replacement filters for the Scotty 2. They fit because I ordered 3 of them for my own truck.
Scotty only made one Scotty 2 for the 2nd Gen trucks. He may have used a different filter at one time, I'm not sure but the UNI's shown fit the housing.

YJIM, you are right. I just took my old one out & did finally find a number on it. It is an AFE 24-40044. Where is the cheapest place to buy these AFE or any other brand that will crossover to the same number?
