So far, it's not bad at all on the street. Pedal effort doesn't seem any stiffer than the 3850 I felt awhile back. We put a short-shift kit in at the same time, and it REALLY shortened the throws - more than I had thought it would. Even with my insane amount of horsepower (250! LOL), I've not slipped it yet . We'll see what I can do this summer, though...
Anybody who needs a clutch or an install, J.R. Adkins is the man!
Oh, and on a side note, J.R. took me for a ride in his truck to see what a 4500 rpm clutch dump in third gear will do if you've got enough oomph .

Did he change his turbo because last time I drove the truck it had a HX-40 and stock valve springs and it still was a bad **** truck.

I think it was a stocker on there - he blew up the last turbo spooling it too fast. Still had the big pump in there with tons of timing...

i put my truck back together this weekend, 10 puck dual disk and a nv5600. i was suprised at the extra clutch effort of the dual disk[3850] over my 13.25 con fe conversion i had in there. i haven't driven it enough to tell ya the truth on how it works, but i bet it will hold anything my truck will dish out. but i do belive it will be slower shifting than the single disk. i can't wait to go to the 1/8 mile drags to see what i can do with it. now for the twins.
